One Place

The One Place project consists of a 30 story office tower above a four level podium of retail space over six levels of subterranean parking. The total gross area of construction is approximately 100,000 square meters.

A one-way joist, beam and slab system was selected as the floor framing system for the office tower. A two-way flat slab system was chosen for the retail podium to maximize the floor to ceiling height. A reinforced concrete core wall system supplemented by perimeter moment frame resist the lateral wind and seismic forces. The up-down construction technique was utilized to reduce the construction schedule by 9 months.
