San Marcos

San Marcos, California
Three buildings, Sciences, Humanities and Fine Arts, form the
Academic II Complex extension of the campus master plan.
The Humanities building is primarily a classroom space with computer
laboratories, graduate business, and faculty offices.
The Sciences building includes biology, physical, chemistry, math and computer
laboratories as well as ancillary greenhouse and support facilities.
The Fine Arts building includes a music rehearsal hall and practice rooms, and a dance
studio as well as separate visual arts laboratories for sculpture, ceramics, painting and
photography.
All three buildings compose about 175,000 square feet of steel framed space supported on
drilled pier foundations.
